Eva Collins : Photographs and Writing

Words

You ate my jumper today

60% angora
navy blue
quite new.

You ate my jumper
when we lunched
at noon.

You didn't notice,
did you?

You tore the fluff
then strips off me

I drew back,
you lunged forward
screaming

Your echo
bounced back
shredding your nerves
which fell to the ground.

I swept them up with a broom
spun them into yarn
and knitted you into a door mat

navy blue.
